FAQs

What Can I Expect From A Visit?

Your therapist will arrive at the scheduled time to set up. During this time, you may fill out your forms and use the restroom. After a brief discussion, a massage plan will be formulated to best suit your massage goals. To prepare for your massage, your therapist will leave the room so you may undress to your level of comfort. Strict draping practices will be implemented (See Draping Practices below to learn more). Once you are situated on the table, your massage will begin. Once your massage is complete, your therapist will exit the room to allow you to dress. After the session, discussion of treatment and/or rebooking will take place. Your therapist will then break down equipment and you will be left to enjoy the residual effects of your massage in the privacy of your own home or work space.

What Are Draping Practices?

Modest draping practices are done using a sheet. The body will be fully covered from shoulders to toes. Only the body part being massaged will be undraped from the sheet. Once work has been completed on that body part, it will be re-draped.

What Kind Of Lubrication Do You Use?

For relaxation massage, a nut-free massage oil either scented or unscented is used. For other modalities, a nut-free shea butter or cocoa butter is used.
